Ben has been involved with VAWP since 2017. He served as the Program Chair until 2024, where he was instrumental in organizing Annual Meetings. Ben was elected Vice President in 2024, and has assumed the role of President, where he will oversee the organization’s operations. He is excited to see the organization grow and is working to offer new training opportunities in 2025.
Ted has been a member of VAWP since 2001 and served as Secretary in 2024. As Vice President, Ted will help ensure that VAWP’s goals, policies, and objectives are maintained. He is also a member of the Education Committee and the Certifications Committee, where he helps to maintain the PWD certification and organize training events.
Lauren has been a member of VAWP since 2011 and is excited to take on her first executive board position. As Secretary, Lauren will record meeting minutes and help maintain the organization’s records. She is also a member of the Regulatory and Legal Committee, where she tracks important regulatory changes in the industry.
Jamie has been a member of VAWP since 2014 and was elected Treasurer for two 3-year terms in 2022. During that time, he has maintained the Association’s finances, tracked revenue, and coordinated sponsorships. Jamie also collaborates with the board to organize Annual Meetings, procure new VAWP merchandise, and successfully rebrand the organization in 2024.
Alexi has been a member of VAWP since 2017, joined the board as Secretary in 2020, and served as VAWP President in 2024. During her presidency, Alexi guided the board through an organizational rebrand for VAWP’s 30th anniversary and worked to improve social media presence. As Immediate Past President, her responsibilities include chairing the Nominations Committee and supporting the board and organization overall.
