Fear to Hope’s 4th Annual Symposium coincides with Earth Day, April 22, 2025! Environmental professionals (you!) are asked to join at the Christopher Newport University (CNU) Peebles Theatre between 9am – 1:30pm.  The Fear to Hope model brings together environmental professionals, university professors, teachers, and college student mentors, who guide high school students in conducting wetland research. These students then present their findings in a poster at the annual Fear to Hope symposium at CNU.

The symposium features discussions on the students’ wetland research, as well as career advice from environmental professionals. This provides valuable real-world experience for students in the fields of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM).
